Early in my professional journey, I learned the hard way that not all accent modification programs work.

Back then, I was a new Accent Coach. I had a fancy certification and I was committed to helping people.

But the techniques I’d been taught were not actually helping anyone- this killed me!

So I threw myself into a deeper study of what really makes an English speaker sound good.
